CANCOM wins the Dell Technologies’ “Excellence in AI” award in Germany

At this year’s Dell Technologies Forum in Munich on December 10, CANCOM received the “Excellence in AI” award, which was presented for the first time. CANCOM presents next-generation AI and digitization solutions for healthcare at DMEA 2025

CANCOM will once again be represented at DMEA, Europe’s leading event for digital health, in 2025, and will be presenting itself with its own booth (hall 2.2, booth E-106) from April 8 to 10, 2025. CANCOM healthcare experts from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will be demonstrating integrated AI and digitization solutions and inviting trade visitors to find out more about innovative technologies and services that are specifically tailored to the needs and regulations of healthcare facilities. CANCOM achieves 2024 forecast and increases cashflow again

The CANCOM Group closes an eventful 2024 financial year in line with its forecast. Based on the preliminary figures for 2024, revenue increased by 14.4 percent to € 1,742.2 million. Gross profit grew by 19.1 percent to € 693.3 million.

CANCOM and IBM promote young professionals with the “watsonXplore” challenge

Experience artificial intelligence in a practical way and develop your own AI use cases: this was the goal of the “watsonXplore” challenge, a joint initiative by CANCOM and IBM. 25 apprentices and dual students from CANCOM worked in four teams on innovative AI applications for several months. The grand finale took place on January 28, 2025 at the IBM Innovation Studio in Munich, where the participants presented their solutions to a jury of experts.

CANCOM implements a future-oriented AI cluster at the University of WĂĽrzburg

The Julius-Maximilians-Universität WĂĽrzburg (JMU) officially launched its new high-performance computing (HPC) cluster ‘Julia 2’ on November 27, 2024. The inauguration took place as part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the university’s data center. With this AI cluster, the university is setting new standards in research and teaching, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning.
